Please take notice that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of East Aurora will hold a Public Hearing in the Board Room at 585 Oakwood Ave, East Aurora, NY, at 6:00 PM on Thursday, August 13, to hear the application for Heather & Anthony Alessi at 508 Girard Ave., who is seeking a variance from the Village Code Section §142-52B (2) Section Required: New construction and substantial improvements to structures shall be constructed using methods and practices that minimize flood damage. Requested and Variance: Installation of privacy fencing with no modifications for flood prevention for a total of 152 linear feet.  §285-30.3A (2) Fences. Requirement: Fences shall be permitted in all districts, provided the height of a fence does not exceed four feet where located to the side or in front of the main building. Request:6' high fence to be installed in the side yard for a total of 21 linear feet.  Variance: 2' in height.
